Defituna lending - First Deposit Checks and Withdrawal Limits

Defituna lending uses wallet-authorized deposits, with an established position appearing under My Lendings. The supplied tokens support leveraged positions on Solana. Before signing, match the wallet, token, lending market, and amount to your intended deposit. On-chain confirmation without an error establishes successful execution; the corresponding lending balance shows the resulting supply. If prompt access to those tokens matters, pool liquidity also belongs in the decision, because borrowing can temporarily prevent withdrawals.

Key takeaway: A lending record confirms the deposit, while pool utilization helps determine whether your supplied tokens remain available for withdrawal.

Prepare the Wallet and First Deposit

A first deposit needs a supported token balance, room under the pool's Supply Limit, and SOL for transaction charges.

Defituna requires users to be at least 18 and have the legal capacity to accept its terms. Its restrictions cover location, residency, citizenship, incorporation, or establishment in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other prohibited jurisdictions. Sanctioned or otherwise restricted parties also can't use the service, and connecting a wallet doesn't establish eligibility.

Should you keep the tokens in your wallet or supply them to the selected pool? Wallet-held tokens avoid this pool's withdrawal constraints, while supplied tokens participate in borrower interest. Your need for prompt access determines whether that trade-off fits. Stopping before signing leaves the deposit unexecuted; returning tokens after execution requires a successful withdrawal.

In the Lend interface, connect the wallet you intend to use, then choose the lending market and its supported token. Click Deposit to enter the amount, then click Deposit again to begin wallet confirmation. The amount sets how many tokens you supply, while the fee settings affect the network charge. Review both before signing.

Keep the transaction signature alongside the My Lendings record; they identify the submitted action and its resulting supply. Switch the lending view from its default USD display to token units when comparing amounts.

Main and Isolated Credit Exposure

Tokens supplied to an Isolated market fund only users of that market. This separation limits bad-debt contagion between lending pools. It doesn't remove losses arising within the chosen market. At equal utilization, an Isolated pool can offer a higher supply APY than the Main pool for the same token. That difference reflects additional market risk. Matching token names therefore don't make the pools equivalent. Read the selected market alongside the token when reviewing the deposit.

Fees and Supply-Rate Inputs

Lending returns and transaction costs follow different inputs, so a first deposit doesn't establish a fixed net outcome.

The supply-rate model uses a zero lending protocol fee, while Solana transactions incur base and optional priority fees paid in SOL. Priority fees vary with transaction settings, and congestion influences the settings you may choose. Review the wallet's estimated charge separately from the number of tokens you'll supply. A later withdrawal involves its own transaction, so its network cost can differ from the deposit's cost.

Supply APR, the annual percentage rate, depends on the pool's borrowing rate and utilization. Supply APR equals borrow APR multiplied by utilization and by one minus the lending fee fraction. Here, utilization is the borrowed share of total pool supply, expressed as a fraction in the calculation. Supply APY, the annual percentage yield, incorporates compounding. Treat the displayed rate as an annualized measure, not a promise for the amount or duration of your first deposit.

Supply Records and Ongoing Monitoring

My Lendings shows your supplied position; the pool's Supply and Borrowed figures describe its combined lending activity. Supply measures pool assets, and Borrowed measures the part borrowers currently use as leverage. The Borrowed figure doesn't represent a personal loan created by your deposit. Monitor the selected market's rate, borrowing demand, and available liquidity over time. Borrower repayments and new lending can change liquidity. A valid deposit record confirms your supply; it doesn't establish the pool's solvency or future withdrawal capacity.

Why Is My Deposit Missing From My Lendings?

An empty My Lendings view doesn't establish whether a deposit failed or the interface hasn't caught up. Submission can return a transaction signature without confirming execution; inspect that signature's status and any error before considering another deposit. Confirm the connected wallet is the one you used for that transaction.

An RPC connection, the node connection used to read and submit blockchain data, can affect responsiveness. Defituna's RPC setting changes that connection; it doesn't cancel an executed deposit. If the transaction succeeded and the matching position still isn't visible, stop adding funds until the discrepancy is resolved. Repeating Deposit risks adding another supply without reversing the earlier transaction.

Withdrawal Evidence and Available Liquidity

A withdrawal completes when the transaction succeeds, the supplied balance decreases, and the selected tokens reach the wallet. Partial and full withdrawals modify the lending position; selecting Withdraw or signing its request alone doesn't establish a return. For a partial withdrawal, the changed supply and received token amount should correspond to the same action. If the lent token also pays network fees, the wallet change must account for the transaction charge.

At 100% lending-pool utilization, withdrawals can remain unavailable until utilization decreases.

A deposit doesn't secure an exit deadline: higher borrowing rates encourage repayment without establishing when liquidity will return. Borrower liquidation aims to limit bad debt, but delayed or ineffective liquidation can still expose the pool to loss.

What to know about Defituna lending

Can I Add to the Same Lending Position After My First Deposit?

You can increase an existing lending position through Deposit. The additional supply remains subject to the selected pool's capacity and transaction conditions. Review the new amount and network charge as a separate commitment, even though you're adding to an established position.

Do I Need to Claim Interest Before It Joins My Lending Balance?

Lending earnings compound automatically, so you don't need a separate claim to reinvest them. This feature belongs to the lending position and doesn't require selecting a compounding mode from a liquidity-position setup. Automatic reinvestment doesn't fix the pool's future interest rate or withdrawal availability.

Does the First Lending Deposit Require Both Tokens From a Trading Pair?

The Lend workflow deposits the single token supported by the selected lending pool. It doesn't ask you to establish a trading-pair deposit ratio. Liquidity provision has different position settings, so borrowing ratios and price-range settings from an LP setup don't belong in this first lending deposit.

Will a Failed Lending Deposit Still Cost a Network Fee?

A deposit transaction that reaches Solana execution can consume a network fee even when its instructions fail. The network reverses its instruction-level state changes, so a fee debit doesn't by itself establish a supplied position. A wallet rejection before submission differs from an executed failure.

Is the Auto Priority Fee Setting a Fixed Price for My First Deposit?

Auto can apply an above-average priority fee based on current network activity, so it doesn't promise a fixed charge. Defituna also provides a Max Fee Cap and custom priority settings. Check the resulting transaction estimate before signing, especially if you've changed the fee settings during congestion.

Can a Higher Priority Fee Release Tokens From a Fully Utilized Lending Pool?

A priority fee affects transaction scheduling and doesn't repay pool borrowers. It can't by itself restore unborrowed liquidity for withdrawal. If full utilization blocks your exit, paying more to submit the same request doesn't remove that credit-pool condition.

Does Supply Limit Describe the Most I Can Deposit From My Wallet?

Supply Limit describes the pool's maximum allowed supply, not the amount available in your wallet. Existing supply uses that capacity, so compare your chosen amount with remaining pool room and your own balance. A displayed limit doesn't reserve unused capacity for your next deposit.
